MangaCraft Support
MangaCraft is an iPhone and iPad app that turns your story idea into manga. It writes the script, casts the characters (you too, from one photo), draws every panel and letters the speech balloons, ready to read, export and share.
Contact
MangaCraft is made by an independent developer. For help, questions about your account or your privacy, or anything else, email mangacraft.support@gmail.com.
The quickest way to write is from inside the app: Settings → Report a problem opens an email to us with your app version and device already filled in.
Report a drawing or a likeness problem
To report something the app drew:
- Open the panel and tap Report this drawing (it is on every drawn panel), or
- Go to Settings → Report a problem.
Both open an email to mangacraft.support@gmail.com. Say what is wrong with the drawing; the email from Report this drawing already names the book and the panel.
If you believe someone has used your likeness without permission, tell us the same way, or write to mangacraft.support@gmail.com directly if you don't use the app, and we will act on it.
What may and may not be made with MangaCraft is set out in the content rules.
Delete your account
- In MangaCraft, open Settings (the gear at the top of your library).
- Under Account, tap Delete account.
- Confirm with Delete account.
Your account, its credit balance and its history are deleted from our server, and MangaCraft's Sign in with Apple access is revoked, so the app is removed from your Apple ID. Any credits left in the balance are deleted with it. Your manga stay on your device.
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Subscriptions are billed by Apple: cancel yours in your Apple ID settings (on iPhone or iPad: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → MangaCraft), or it keeps renewing. You can also open your App Store subscriptions directly.
To remove your manga from the device as well, use Settings → Delete everything in MangaCraft. It removes every project and every image from that device and cannot be undone.
Restore purchases
Credits and subscriptions are kept with your account, so on a new iPhone or iPad sign in with the same Apple ID first. Then:
- Go to Settings → Buy credits.
- Tap Restore at the top of the purchase screen.
The purchase screen has the same Restore button wherever the app shows it, and Settings → Restore purchases, in the Subscription section, does the same.
Your manga are not restored this way, because they live on the device, not on our server. Before you change devices, use Settings → Back up all books and save the file somewhere you can reach. On the new device, use Settings → Import a backup.
How credits work
- What are credits for?
Drawing. Everything made of words stays free: writing your story, its cast and its script costs no credits.
- What does drawing cost?
-
What Credits A finished panel 6 Each view on a character sheet, the first time free A place, the first time free Drawing a sheet view or a place again 6 The first two redraws of any panel free Redraws the app's own consistency check triggers free The automatic edit that removes sweat drops free If a drawing fails, the credits taken for it are returned automatically.
- How do I get credits?
-
New accounts start with 60 free credits. After that, subscribe to MangaCraft Studio or buy a credit pack:
Product Includes Price MangaCraft Studio, Monthly 400 credits every month $14.99 / month MangaCraft Studio, Yearly 400 credits every month, billed once a year $149.99 / year Credit pack 100 credits $4.99 Credit pack 200 credits $9.99 Credit pack 800 credits $34.99 Credit pack 3,000 credits $124.99 US prices. Prices may vary by country; the App Store shows the price where you live.
- Do credits expire?
No. Credits never expire. They have no cash value and can't be transferred.
- Why do I need to sign in?
Credits are kept with your account, so they follow you to a new phone. You sign in with Apple; we never see your Apple ID password.
- Where did my credits go?
Settings → Credits → Where they went lists every credit added and spent.
- How do I cancel a subscription?
In your Apple ID settings. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. See the subscription terms.
Refunds
All purchases are made through Apple, and Apple handles refunds. To ask for one, go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, choose the purchase and tell Apple what went wrong. We never see your payment details, so we can't refund a purchase ourselves.
You don't need to ask about a failed drawing: its credits come back automatically.
